Toronto FC announced Tuesday that five players have been called up for their respective National Team's as FIFA 2010 World Cup Qualifying resumes for a number of countries. All five will be unavailable for Toronto's next game Saturday, October 11 in Dallas.

Midfielders Kevin Harmse, Carl Robinson, Amado Guevara; defender Tyrone Marshall; and forward Carlos Ruiz all joined their National Teams training camps after Toronto FC's 3-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night.

Midfielder Kevin Harmse was selected to the Canadian roster and joins coach Dale Mitchell's squad in Florida as they prepare to face Honduras October 11 in San Pedro Sula, followed by a trip to Edmonton to play Mexico on October 15. Harmse made his last appearance with the Canadians on January 30, 2008 in a friendly against Martinique; this is his first appearance for the team during their World Cup qualifying campaign. Canada sits third in their qualifying group with one point from three matches played. Mexico leads the way with nine, followed by Honduras with six.

Carl Robinson returns to the Wales National team where he has been a staple this year, and is closing in on 50 caps. Wales will be home to Liechtenstein on the 11th, followed by a match in Germany on the 15th. Wales currently sits third out of six countries in their group, level on points with Russia, and a single point behind leaders Germany.

Amado Guevara re-joins the Honduran squad as captain where he will face TFC teammate Kevin Harmse on the 11th in his home country, then travel to Jamaica to face another MLS teammate in Tyrone Marshall. Guevara scored on a penalty kick in the last round of matches in September. Marshall's Jamaican team will play both their matches in Kingston, the first against Mexico on the 11th, followed by Honduras.

All five players will be back in Toronto and be available for selection for the team's final home game of the MLS regular season against the Chicago Fire on Saturday, October 18 in a 3:30p.m. ET kick-off. The game will also be broadcast on CBC Television.
