One of the most colourful players to ever put on a Toronto FC jersey, Rohan Ricketts made his impact both on and off the field in 2008. One of the few players to play for both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur of the Premiership, Ricketts brings with him a unique perspective from his playing days in England having gone through the ups and downs of professional football in the UK. He possesses a good work ethic, is a fine crosser of the ball and was able to play on both the right and left sides of the midfield this season. Off the pitch Ricketts was heavily involved in the Community lending his time to numerous charitable organizations.

2008: Appeared in 27 games, 26 as a starter logging 2139 minutes, which ranked 3rd in the team…accumulated no bookings the entire season…scored 4 goals and added 4 assists….Rohan hit the score sheet for TFC scoring twice in the same game on 06/14/08 at home against the Colorado Rapids in a 3-1 win…Ricketts did not hit the score sheet again until the final home game of the season on 10/18/08 against Chicago, and again he struck twice…his second goal was credited as the game winner in a 3-2 victory…credited with scoring 2 game winning goals, and 1 game winning assist… Nutrilite Canadian Championship: scored the tying goal in the match in Vancouver on 07/09/08 that ended 2-2…opening the scoring on 07/22/08 against Montreal after being set up by Jim Brennan.
