On November 1, 2007, Toronto FC hosted the party of the year! Over 400 fans joined the full Toronto FC Roster for a night packed with foosball, pool, bowling, pub grub and Playstation’s FIFA ’08. The night also marked the first annual, ‘Toronto FC Fan Awards’. Eight awards, including Player of the Year, Goal of the Year and Ladies’ Favourite, were voted on by thousands of TFC fans for three weeks before the event through online polls. An exclusive Toronto FC-Only Silent Auction helped to fundraise for TFC partner charities, KidSport Ontario and Right To Play.

// USED SOCCER EQUIPMENT SORT
On Saturday, December 1st, Toronto FC Defenders, Todd Dunivant and Andrew Boyens, alongside members of the Toronto FC back office headed to St. Cuthbert’s Church to participate in a used equipment sort with ‘Second Kicks’, a local charity that distributes soccer equipment for children’s teams in India, Uganda and Kenya. In support of their program, the Toronto FC Locker Room donated their ‘previously loved’ boots from the 2007 season. Together with Second Kicks volunteers, we assembled over 1800 soccer kits for both children and adults. If you have equipment that you’d like to donate, click here to find out how you can help: www.secondkicks.com
