Checking in from Charleston |
Yo what's popping Toronto?? I know the weather must be playing up in T Dot! I'm sitting in my hotel room right now listening to Johann Smith rapping... he is a real funny guy hahaha!! When he reads this he is probably going to be asking me why I told you... hahaha.
Fortunately for me and the boys we are down in South Carolina playing in the Carolina Challenge Cup in great weather conditions. We have got two straight wins and we are going for a third on Saturday against Real Salt Lake. Be sure to catch the game live on Toronto FC TV.
The mood in the camp is amazing on and off the pitch. No disrespect to any of the players that have left the club but the level of the squad has improved in various areas. Paul Winsper has played a massive part in our progression as individuals and as a team. I have not felt this fit in a few years. This should lead to a positive season. I can only imagine how excited and impatient all you fans must be right now. Well it won’t be too long now before the city is rocking because Toronto FC are back playing.
Big thanks to all the Toronto FC fans that have made the trip down to Charleston to watch their beloved team. That’s what I call real dedication to the cause!! Big shout out to Malcolm the KITMAN for being so consistent in his role in the unit. He is a real character. Until next time... stay healthy and positive...

Happy New Year |
Hello and Happy New Year to all Toronto FC supporters. I hope everyone has an optimistic perspective of the forthcoming season. It’s gonna be a BIG one!!! I am itching to get back into training and I know the rest of the lads feel the same.
Preseason training camp is probably the toughest time to get through as an athlete but for me it is where the season begins. Our Strength and Conditioning Coach, Paul Winsper, provided all of us with an off season programme which is designed to keep us in good enough shape to enter preseason training on the front foot.
I wanna give a warm welcome to our latest signing, Dwayne De Rosario. He is gonna be great for the club on and off the pitch. This signing is a statement saying that Toronto FC plan to move to the next level sooner rather than later. Well done to all of those who brokered the deal!! Dwayne's talents speak for themselves. He can create and score goals....plus he can dance without hearing a beat (his celebration). He may not know it, but he is coming into one of the best locker rooms ever!!!
I would like to wish Julius James and Jarrod Smith the very best in the future with their new clubs Houston Dynamo and Seattle, respectively. It’s not nice to see them have to leave but this is the nature of the sport. Back to the fans - I have been hearing that many of you are already planning your trips down to our first two road games. I feel that this kind of dedication is second to none/first class!!! You do not need to win a trophy to be sure of that. Whilst you’re travelling to watch us throughout the season, remember we are very grateful!!!
I'm gonna go now take it easy. Don’t forget, "IT’S NOT ME IT’S MY SHOES!" RR#10.
